Introduction to Mindfulness:

Mindfulness for Stress Reduction

This course is a gentle entry into the practice of mindfulness for being present in the moments of your life. There are 3 classes that cover 3 meditation practices: sitting, walking, body scanning. Participants are asked to practice 10-15 minutes daily at home between classes. Benefits of mindfulness meditation can range from the physical, such as reduced symptoms of pain and lessened insomnia, to the emotional, such as increased confidence and joy. A body scan CD is provided for continued practice beyond the course. Beginners and those with beginner's mind are welcome.
